Go beyond Lucas-- Upgrade to a Relayed Switching & Advanced Wired Platform and Get All the Juice You Need!

Up until now, the MGB or Triumph owner has had only two options for improving the electrical systems in their cars: buy an OEM replacement or one of the many aftermarket wiring systems designed for street rods or custom cars. An OEM replacement only solves some of your problems, but doesn't solve any of the original design deficencies. You're still stuck with poor lighting, slow wipers, and sluggish heater fans caused by voltage drops through the old, worn out switches. The aftermarked kits available up until now are excellent, but they are not designed for an MGB or a Triumph, nor do they solve the problems with old switches. The majority of these kits are designed to mate with the GM steering column and the GM switches that are almost universally used in street rods, not for the switches we have.

The instructions supplied with these kits (usually pictorials) are quite clear if you are using these GM style components, but if not, you will have a heck of a time trying to figure out how to mate one of these kits to your car. Typical of the instructions supplied with these kits is this excerpt: "if you are not using a GM switch, you will have to trace out your wiring to determine how to wire the switch." Huh? How much help is that?

None of them have enough relays to take the load off your OEM switches. Without the relays, corroded contacts in the switches will still have voltage drops that will leave you with dim lights and may even cause the switches to heat up enough to cause a fire. Replacing these switches is expensive and time consuming, and without reducing the loads, the switches will deteriate rapidly, setting you right back where you were.

The Cost of Replacing (5) of your OEM switches could pay for one of our Powerblock Kits!

What's a Rolls Royce?

What's a Rolls Royce?

It was Handmade & Crafted by Charles & Henry Royce... In our case: the Powerblock is Handmade & Crafted by a Troll... and that Troll is ME! ... I only have another 75 years to Achieve Greatness like Rolls Royce ;-)

Reliability on the road

In 1904, there were 8400 private cars registered in the UK. The two main means of transport were the railway and the horse. It is estimated that in the West End of London alone 240 tons of horse manure were deposited each day.

The motor car was for the privileged few, and was so unreliable it was not unknown for test vehicles to be followed by a horse and cab! And yet, there was something about the independence and convenience promised by the car that caught public imagination.

Enthusiasts, such as Rolls and Royce, set out to prove that the car could become a major means of transport to rival the train and the horse. Royce’s every effort went into designing and manufacturing engines that were both powerful and unlike most engines of the day, virtually silent and extremely reliable.

Our Available Wiring Kits

Our Powerblock Harness is designed to replace your OEM Fuse Block & Harness FOREVER for most British Classics that are similar to the physical size of MGBs & TRs; otherwise, we would have to Customized your order for extra wire-- that's it!

Remember: Our Kits are Custom Made to Order and designed & fitted around the British Standards of Doing Things-- not by American Standards. Therefore, Wiring Color Codes are British. 99% of the Connectors are British. About Us

WHO ARE WE??

We are British Sports car Enthusiasts just like Yourself.

Yours Truly

01/01/2008 - a Little Elf Magic

Folks, I'm glad to announce that my Son, Nico, will become much more involved in the Business in 2008-- He's gonna be 13 this year, and as all of us know... most Teenagers need Money to Support their Lifestyles ;-) Now, that I have his Motivation maybe we can Catch Up a Bit on our Mile long Production Line.

This Week, Nico will be working on putting together Split Shipments and Shipping them out the Door while I continue to plug away on building Accessories & Powerblocks. Meanwhile, I will be busy on the phone ordering more Hardware & Wire for this Month's needs.

Next week, I hope to start training Nico on Powerblock pre-assembly now that his hands are big enough to terminate wires & such. Nico is a very sharp craftsman, so I have every confidence in the World that He'll deliver to me a Fine piece for me to Continue building towards the Finished product.

Somewhere this January, I will make the Time for Developing a full Business Plan that I will use as a Tool for my Venture Capital Quest in 2008! If anybody Feels they can Contribute to the Process... please by all means Drop me a Email ;-) I will be updating our Portfolio site at http://mcce-port.blogspot.com/ with the Business Plan and Notes during our Journey. We will be looking to secure a $1-3.5 million package-- so, Wish us Luck!

Plus, we should have our 1st Austin Healey order come through any Day now from Mr. Oey! Mr. Harvey of Canada just ordered (2) MGB V8 kits during our Wintersale-- he saved $100 ;-)

Wishing Y'all all the Best for 2008... and Thank You for your Patience as we continue to Grow.

Cheers!
Mike

03/20/2008 - Barn Storming

Folks,

This has been an Impressive 1st Quarter... Thanks to All of You ;-)

Other Good News is that we now have (4) Investors looking at our Company expansion plan-- (2) from Bloody Ole England to Boot! I'm still working on the Spreadsheets & Business Proposal when I can Steal the Time from the Little Shop of Horrors ;-)

It's all about Six Degrees of Separation-- if Any of You knows of a Potential Investor, by all means-- Hook us Up! Give them our Portfolio (http://mcce-port.blogspot.com/) website to Review.

Cheers!
Mike

Archived Updates

The Split Shipment Method

Folks,

I have created a New Method, what I hope to be the Best Way, that will Allow me to Push move Powerblocks out the Door much, much, Faster than Before! ... for One Troll ;-)

I have added (2) New Sections to the FIFO Hopper labeled, "Split Shipments" & "The Powerblock Queue". Currently, each Powerblock Kit is shipped in (2) individual USPS boxes for Domestic shipping, One box for International shipments. My Expectation for this New Method is to Balance the Yin & Yang between Assembly & Refurbishment Turnaround Time by my Vendors-- Especially, my Wire Vendors ;-)

For Right Now expect your Kits to arrive in (2) separate Time Periods:

First - Off Panel Wire, Hardware, Manual, & Invoice
Later - The Powerblock

A Plus Factor regarding this method is that you can Complete up to 50% of your installation while Waiting for Your Powerblock to Come. When your Powerblock comes you will only have to Hook up the connections under the Bonnet & under the Dash-- and You are Done!

Mr. Craig from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida suggests:

"Mike

This split shipment method is really not that bad, overwhelming at first.

I wired the incidentals in less than 15 hours, which is right 50% of 30 hours (as the car was already dismantled and I have been studying the schematics for months I had a jump start)

A good idea would be to amend the instructions as to alleviate this lost feeling:

o When the first box arrives start at the Alternator (which was already changed to a GM type) Run all that to the inside of the car, Run Coil, oil switch, brake failure switch, water temp sending unit, etc…

o Then go to back of car start with Red driving lights, then go to Brake lights, reverse lights, fuel gauge, grounds, etc…

o Next you can pre-wire the dash while waiting for the Block to arrive.

Once the block arrives, mount it, and then run your lines out to the dash, head lights, etc…

This was real easy!"

I believe by Focusing & Shipping in Segments we can better Interface with Our Suppliers as to when they can Re-Supply Us in a Timely Fashion... and that we Don't Lose our Minds in the Process.

At the Moment Inventory is literally Flying Off the Shelves-- each Powerblock kit requires 100s of pieces of Components & Hardware, Plus 800 feet of Wire! An Inventory Tracking system that Automates inventory levels based upon On Hand quantities would be Nice!... and So would a Yacht in the Backyard be too ;-)

In order to better communicate with our customers, we are providing our list of orders Received and in Production:

Please UPDATE your Address Book - "mcce@ispwest.com" no longer exists. Please REPLACE with "mcce@comcast.net".

There are (5) Zones to the FIFO page to Familiarize yourself with,

o Top - Updates & Special Notices
o Middle - Hopper#1 - Recent Orders not In Process
o Middle Bottom - Hopper#2 - In Process Orders for Split Shipment
o Bottom Top - Hopper#3 - The Powerblock Production Queue
o Bottom - Completed & Shipped Orders by Month

I hope You Enjoy this Feature.

We are a Cottage Industry serviced by (1) Troll & One Elf... and that Troll is Me! Most of our Customers know-- it is well Worth the Wait to Receive any of our Custom Made, Handcrafted Products. I hope you Appreciate Excellent Craftsmanship like We Do ;-)

Online Schematic Diagrams

Perhaps none of our products are what you need. Maybe you want to keep your Little British Car stock, and just want to repair what you have. In that case, you might want a wiring diagram for your car that you can actually read! To help you, we have redrawn as many of the wiring digrams as we could find. To make them more readable, not only have we re-arranged them, we have also drawn them in color, with each wire printed in its correct color code. You can see a small portion of a diagram to the right to give you an idea of what these diagrams are like.

These diagrams are posted here in Adobe PDF format. You will need to have the Adobe reader to view them. If you don't have the reader, you may download a free copy direct from Adobe by clicking on the button below. The diagrams are printed on 11" X 17" paper to make them more legible, so if your color printer won't print on that size paper, you can take the PDF file to your local copy shop - Kinkos, Staples, etc, - and ask them to print them for you. This is a bit costly, so you may want to print only the pages for your car, rather than the whole set.

COLOR CODED WIRING DIAGRAMS

(These diagrams were created using the best information available. Any given diagram may or may not specifically apply to any given model. Before using these, confirm that the diagram you are using actually fits the car you are using it with.)
